We are pleased to invite you to the second annual
Florida Gulf Coast University Reverse Career and Service Fair
Tuesday, February 7th 2012 from 3pm- 6pm in the Ballroom of our Student Union.
The Reverse Career and Service Fair is a competition among the best
FGCU Student Organizations, judged by YOU!
Don't miss this opportunity to increase your organizations visibility on campus, and form longstanding partnerships with student groups. Student leaders will show how the skills and experience they have gained transfer to the professional world and their local community. Employers and non-profit representatives can network with students to arrange speaking engagements, event partnerships, or even recruit employees and volunteers!
The Set-Up: Registered Student Organizations set up booths and SW Florida employers and non-profits representatives walk around to network with them, and build connections (possibly gaining an invitation to return to campus and speak to the organization on a separate date.) Guests will also judge the booths and vote on the winning RSO’s. Student organizations will showcase the group as a whole, and demonstrate the value of their membership experience. After the trade show portion of the event, students and judges are invited to an awards ceremony and networking reception with a special guest speaker, Melissa Simontis.
The Winners: The winning groups will be determined by community guest scoring. First, Second, and Third prizes will be awarded prize money.
Cost of Attendance: Just to sign up. Fee includes: 1 Parking pass, attendance to the trade show portion of the event, and admission to the networking reception (includes refreshments.)
**Please remember that registration is not confirmed until we have received complete registration and payment. Space is limited so reserve your spot early.
Important Parking Information for the Career and Internship Fair: All representatives should stop at the parking booth and obtain a parking pass. Guest will park in Garage #1, and report directly to the Student Union.
