About Wendy Kerr
I am a global entrepreneur and I LOVE to inspire women business owners around the world.
Originally from New Zealand, I had a successful corporate career living all over the world for over 18 years. In this time I created many successful start-ups for multinational corporations, designing and implementing the business and marketing strategy. Over my career I have led the marketing for Colgate Toothpaste, Smirnoff Vodka, Tia Maria, Quicken and Apple.
Eight years ago I created a Coaching and Consulting business to help people feel more inspired and motivated with their businesses and work. This is now a successful six-figure enterprise!
I am now living in London, with my husband and two small children, our cat and two terrapins!
But it wasn’t always like this. In 2003, I moved to Tokyo with Mike, my husband. Try as I might, I was unable to get a corporate job. I retrained as a Coach and set up my business. At first I felt isolated, overwhelmed by a never-ending to do list and questioned when I would ever make a significant turnover.
Two years later I moved back to London and went through all the start-up pains again and in a much more competitive market. At times I wondered if the isolation, fear and hard work was all worth it. I even started to apply for jobs, thinking I should ‘get real’ and go back into corporate life.
But in my heart I knew I wanted to keep my business, so I created a set of tools and daily success habits to get my business and life where I wanted it to be. Now, three years later, my business is booming, life is balanced and I feel fulfilled, motivated and inspired!
Realising what impact these tools and approaches had on me, I designed Corporate Crossovers – coaching, workshops and resources to inspire women who have left corporate to start their own businesses, so more women could do what they love and reap the rewards for doing it!
